SUMMER SERIES SHOWS

The SRHA hosts a summer jackpot reining series. This provides an opportunity for members to begin showing reining horses in a supportive and informal show environment. It also provides a venue for experienced competitors to school or introduce young horses to showing.

2010 Summer Series Dates

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to an SHF ruling anyone 12 yrs. of age and younger, competing at a SRHA Summer Series Show must wear an approved helmet.

 

This is the pattern for the Beginner Rider/ Ranch reining for the 2010 season.

NOTE:  The Modified Pattern #5 consists of 4 spins in both directions

SUMMER SERIES Format
No paid warm ups; instead there will be a fee of $25.00 paid by each exhibitor, including youth for each jackpot run. There will be no judges fee. Classes will start in the order given:

Saturday - Show start time 10:00 a.m.
1. Beginner Rider - zero lifetime earnings for the rider (run concurrently with class 2)
2. Ranch- $100 lifetime earnings for horse and rider
3.Non pro 3&4 yr old
4.Beginner Horse - Open to any horse with less than $250 LTE as of January 1st.  One or two hands, any legal bit.
5. Rookie(250) - $250 lifetime earnings rider
6.$750 -$750 lifetime earnings rider
7.$1,500 - $1,500 lifetime earnings rider
Classes 5, 6, and 7 and to run concurrently.
8.Non pro
9.Open(run concurrently with class 10)
10.Intermediate non pro
11.Youth 10 and under Short Stirrup
12.Youth 13 and under (run concurrently with class 13)
13.Youth 14-18


Sunday - Show start time 10:00 a.m.
1. Youth 10 and under Short Stirrup
2. Youth 14-18 (run concurrently with class 3)
3. Youth 13 and under
4. Non-Pro 3- and 4-yr-old
5. Beginner Horse - Open to any horse with less than $250 LTE as of January 1st.  One or two hands, any legal bit.
6. Rookie/$250
7. $750
8. $1,500
9.  Non-Pro
10. Open (run concurrently with class 11)
11. Intermediate Non-Pro
12. Beginner Rider (run concurrently with class 13)
