Another season of jackpot reining for the SRHA has come to an end, but what a season it was with many talented horse and rider combinations truly showing that Saskatchewan knows all about reining. The last of the jackpots were held on August 18th and 19th, 2007 in Swift Current, Sk. at Silver Birch Stables. There was a total of 83 entries on Saturday and 81 entries Sunday making the weekend an incredible success. These were also the final classes for the club for the year and the jackpot awards were given out Sunday after the show. Congratulations to all the competitors and winners for a job well done and lots of hard work that got you there. We would like to thank the judge Rhonda Daoust who put in a full weekend of judging and the scribes. We would also like to thank our hosts Tricia and Malcolm Banks for all their work and effort in making the jackpot weekend so enjoyable. Here are the final points and standings for the 2007 SRHA Jackpot Series.
I would like to remind everyone that the 31st Annual Stakes and Futurity Show will be held in Moose Jaw, Sk. at the Golden Mile Arena on October 19th, 20th, and 21st. Hope to see everyone there for another remarkable reining show.
